Starwood's homeowners are active in taking care of this treasured neighborhood. The following committees invite you to ask more information or join them to keep Starwood beautiful.
Architectural Review Committee (ARC)
ARC oversees all construction activity in Starwood. ARC members are appointed by the Board of Directors. ARC decisions are made case-by-case to determine a project's compliance with Starwood's Bylaws, CC&Rs, its own ARC rules and the State of Oregon's Planned Communities Act. ARC meetings are open to all Starwood Association members. ARC decisions are legally binding and written records of decisions and actions are kept.

Dog Park Committee
In 2011, two Starwood homeowners led the effort to build a secure, fenced dog park for Starwood's four footed residents. Dogwood is located on Starwood's east side and is maintained by the Dog Park Committee. In 2016, the Starwood Association took over the maintenance of Dogwood so the committee was dissolved.
Parks and Recreation Committee (PRC)
This committee maintains Galaxy Park and hosts special events such as homeowner picnics, Equinox/Solstice 5K Run, and the annual neighborhood garage sale.
Front Pasture
This committee manages the front pasture that you see as you enter Starwood off of Tumalo Road. The committee works with our water rights, land use and local farmers.
RV Committee
This committee is responsible for the use and storage of recreational vehicles (RVs) within Starwood. The Committee serves the RV owners, as well as anyone who stores campers, boats, trailers and snowmobiles in the RV storage area. The RV Committee periodically meets to address such matters as RV transport, parking and storage in the secure RV storage facility located on Starwood's west side. All who rent space in the facility are encouraged to participate in and attend any RV Committee meetings.
Communication
This is done by the secretary of the Starwood board. This person helps promote communication in Starwood through the use of our website, our email system, and (sometimes) an electronic/paper newsletter.
Directory
This is a committee of one (currently). This person helps Starwood homeowners stay connected through our local neighborhood directory. The directory features homeowners' names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Homeowners may opt out of having their information printed in the directory. The directory is given to each homeowner when s/he moves into Starwood.
