Starwood's homeowners association, the Starwood Association, is led by five volunteers. They are homeowners and are elected by the homeowners to serve on the board.
The 2021-2022 Board of Directors are:

- Tina Galloway (Vice President)
- Deb Garley (Treasurer)
- Geri Wildenberg (Secretary)
- Cheryl Pierce (Member, At-Large)
The Starwood Association is responsible for maintaining the common area (streets, parks, ponds, trails, cultivated common areas, and all facilities), and for enforcing the Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions (CC&Rs) as well as the Architectural Rules.
